Under a well planned conspiracy foreign rulers in India tried to destroy the intellect of Indians and fill Indian society with the feeling of inferiority, shame and depression for which Lord Macaulay in 1835 began English education in India with the purpose that is clear from his own words- preparing such people who are Indian only in appearance which means from the colour of their skin and blood but in thinking , mind set, conduct, behaviour and knowledge they will be Britishers and they will act like a medium between illiterate Indians and the British ruler. After making an announcement of this effect Lord Macaulay wrote a letter to his father describing with great Pride that he was confident that new education system based on English system will promote and encourage their plan and this would happen without any religious conversion or interfering into the religious affairs of local people.
From William Vilver Force to many other British officers from 1780 launched a well-planned Movement in England demanding that the main purpose of British Empire in its colonies should not be earning wealth but promotion of Christianity and from Lord Macaulay to many other British officers they believed that until christianization of entire India does not take place the British rule cannot remain stable in this country and the best way to convert Hindus into Christianity is that to destroy their ancient system of education and make Indians slaves of the British system of education.
The system of justice, revenue, administration , economy, educational system of any country are closely related and with change in educational system the entire system will get changed and the British rulers were of the view that the system of education is one such thing that can work like a mould to shape such type of people the way you want and before taking any selection in education system we will have to decide that what sort of humans do we want to build and what sort of lifestyle family life social environment national economy society and polity they would like to build.
Due to the foreign system of education of Lord Macaulay India's 200 crore years of ancient spiritual culture was badly destroyed by the materialistic and consumeric ill culture of Europe and western world . Western forces destroyed the the brain programming of India's modern youth of India whose basic culture was Vedic culture and Civilization promoted by sages and by the means of modern system of education at present cultural political thinking is becoming influenced by the Western ideas and ideology and wicked educational system of Lord Macaulay which is described to be modern destroyed India political socially religiously economically and culturally and India became slave of the Western world and due to that valueless system of English education India might have got freedom in 1947 but event today our country is culturally religiously socially and economically slave of of the Western world because Lord macaulay's system of education transformed the brain programming of Indian youth that is their way of thinking contemplating that our youth since childhood refused to follow the path of sacrifice salvation high moral values of culture and they got attracted by consumerist culture and superficiality of lifestyle which they considered to be their ideal. Due to the system of education of Lord Macaulay our modern new generation youth had got changed brain programming system and saw their Glory in in adopting consumerism Western lifestyle refusing to pay respect to the best values of Indian culture they love the to become an atheist started believing in false theory of secularism and non scientific theory of development besides they also turned to unnatural way of sex relationship on television cinema internet social media and literature which is the result of a conspiracy and a well planned conspiracy which has created this environment and in the minds of our youth this consumereric and materialistic teaching is being filled at the level of their school education and college education where it is taught to earn a lot eat a lot and indulge a lot. Child at early age of 3 to 4 years joins our school carrying and MP mind and goes to a play school for a primary education then his brain is washed by the means of words context and syllabus and language conduct behaviour thinking and he starts becoming a student who is taught to become from Yogi to Bhogi or a Rogi that means from a Sage to a consumeric, to a patient of diseases and he becomes a consumer due to which his subconscious programming is filled by greed falsehood violence lack of good habits and hatred develops habits to eat non vegetarian food immorality and atheism in place of truth sacrifice nonviolence penance selflessness service to the society yoga spiritualism love compassion hard work sanctity , brahmachary satisfaction and peace and this is how consumerism becomes an ideal and goal of his life.
Ideological impact of educational system
If we talk of brain programming then Osama Bin Laden who has scared the whole world had also a higher educational degree because he had a higher degree in civil engineering but he became a reason for destruction of human values and Mohammad Afzal who had planned attack on Indian Parliament was also highly qualified and was a professor associated with the the reputed University let him he had got wrong type of education which was responsible for the change in his brain programming due to which he could be encouraged to attack the temple of Indian democracy that is Indian Parliament. If we try to search for the reason behind such mindset of Osama Bin Laden then its process could be found in the process of his childhood education because she was taught to learn bigotry e hat rate religious fundamentalism at a very early age of life which made him a demon.
Modern education can teach only letters and writings while Indian system of Vedic education and tradition of Indian sages is capable of transforming a common man into a great man because it keep it teaches great human values and the system of Indian education is capable of refining a common man into a great man and capable of becoming the successor of great sages. If we say in the words of Maharshi Dayanand then we will say that advent of the regime of sages in human being is the main purpose of Indian system of education and similarly Maharshi Arvind who was a great scholar and fought against British rule also says that why living like human being on this planet by the means of Indian system of education and yoga one can attain super mind and super consciousness and he can get the status of a Superman and can get infinite divine power and in the philosophy of education described by Maharshi Arvind Atimanas haze higher level of consciousness and this status can be acquired gradually and very slowly which is the process of purpose of education and Maharshi Arvind was completely the satisfied with modern English education and he often said that information cannot be the foundation of Intelligence and he was a great proponent of ancient Indian system of education in which amanpour guru is a friend philosopher and guide of his disciple in which eguru provides his moral Verizon to help his disciple to get well-developed.
Factful description of ancient India's system of education, literacy and Gurukul prior to advent of the British in India
In second round table conference on October 20 1931 in London Gandhiji at a meeting accused the British rulers sign tattoo British rule as a storm has destroyed the beautiful tree of Indian education and after 100 years of British rule India has become even more illiterate than earlier which created a storm in the entire British society and many British opposed this view of Mahatma Gandhi on which Gandhiji presented many facts and figures and supported his statement with logic on the basis of the various server documents by different representatives of British government he proved that in 1823 in Madras Presidency the population was 1 crore 28 lakh 50 thousand and the number of Gurukul Pathshala had been 12498 in which 188650 students studied and if we compare between the educational system of India and Britain of that time then we find that India's system of education was 3 times better and greater than that of Britain on the other hand the population of Britain was 9553000 and the population between the two was not much different but the number of students who studied in Britain was only 75000 of which most of the students attended school for only 2-3 hours for just Sunday and that too to learn Bible. This proves that England of the British had Vin systematically trying to destroy the Indian system of education for quite some time and even been in the poor state Indian system of education was three times better than that of the system of education in England.
World class centres of education in ancient India
World's first university Taxila came into existence around 2800 years ago and in the 4th century a.d. Nalanda University was set up and with this ancient India also had Vikramshila University, Vallabhi university, Udantpuri university, Sompura university, pushpagiri university , besides others and they were world class centres of education which proves that India had the best system of education in ancient period.
Beginning of the movement of change against Lord Macaulay's foreign system of education
Impact of English system of education started to come to fore in the 18th century and father of Rabindranath Tagore Devendra Thakur , Yogi Arvind's maternal grandfather Raj Narayan Ghosh , Bankim Chandra Chatterjee , Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati , Swami Vivekanand, Lala Lajpat Rai , Lokmanya Tilak , Bipin Chandra Pal, Lala Hardayal , Sister Nivedita, Annie Besant, Rabindranath Tagore, Shri Arvind, Swami Shradhanand, Mahatma Gandhi like intellectual and scholars described the foreign system of education as destructive and useless for India and just said its impact of this foreign system of education was understood by them at a very early stage and to keep this system away Tattvabodhini Sabha was setup in 1839 which was a medium for change for Devendranath Thakur Aastha who was father of Rabindranath Tagore to set up Afri school in 1845 and this way A beginning of Nationalist movement took place after which maternal grandfather of Maharshi Arvind Mr Raj Narayan after being educated in English system of education viewed the system of English education and the language and understood the bad impact of the system and with the help of society for the promotion of national feeling among the educated native of Bengal he launched Renaissance at the national level and to promote education and end illiteracy in the society organisations like students literary and scientific society and Deccan Education Society was set up in 1848 and addressed national feeling was promoted by GB Joshi, Mahadev Govind Ranade , Vasudev Balwant Phadke, vishnushastri chiplunkar, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Gopal Ganesh Agarkar came forward to work and the work between 1856 to 1894.
Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1872
A magazine called Bang Darshan edited by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee was launched which started a campaign against the Western impact on Bengali society due to English education and in 1874 Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati started the system of Gurukul education and during his first tour across India he tried to revive ancient system of Indian education and before establishment of Arya Samaj in 1874 Dayanand Saraswati set up Sanskrit Ved Pathshala in the districts like Kasganj Jalesar farookhabad Mirzapur and Kashi off Uttar Pradesh.
Swami Vivekananda in 1893
Swami Vivekanand Ji was of the view that education does not mean a heap of knowledge which should be forcefully put in a person's mind without understanding it properly and as long as such kind of knowledge will remain in the brain it will keep causing trouble and we are required to have experience of such thoughts which are helpful in building of life humans and characteristics and his speech in Chicago city the city which is considered to be the centre of western culture and civilization in America and where Swamiji established the glory of the greatness of Indian culture and he also drew attention of the people of his country towards the lacuna found in the foreign system of education and western knowledge tradition and asked the people to get rid of their elusive love for English system of education and develop our own National system of education being impressed by his views and Ideas all the sages of Ramakrishna Mission especially Swami Vivekananda Sister Nivedita began efforts to start Nationalist education and when in 1905 Bengal was divided into two parts all students left their studies and joined Nationalist movement to oppose the British government and the government issued an order in which it was said that the students participating in the movement must be sacked and this order for the intensified the movement.
Rabindranath Thakur in 1905
Under his chairmanship a meeting was convened to discuss about alternative system of education and in a Kasba called Rangpur the same here 300 students joined Rangpur Rashtriy Vidyalay and all the Nationalist and Patriots of Bengal convened a a educational meeting in which it was decided to Institute rashtriy Shiksha Parishad.
Riddhesh Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore came forward to support imparting education in the mother tongue and to give his ideas regarding education a practical form Rabindranath Tagore established four institutes of education like in 1901 he stablished another Educational Institute established by him was Sriniketan and the third one was Shiksha Shastra and finally the three were merged together into visva-bharati University and in the year 1906 Shri Arvind constituted a body called jaati on Nationalist Shiksha Parishad comprising 92 members and Rashtriya Mahavidyalay and Bengal National College came into existence in Calcutta.
Lokmanya Tilak and Lala Lajpat Rai also made efforts and with initiative of Lokmanya Rashtriya Vidyalaya started in Amravati and Pune and Lala Lajpat Rai also help the Lahore to emerge as a major centre of education and besides this Lala Lajpat Rai Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Bipin Chandra Pal V3 leaders who jointly started Nationalist Movement in the country and under the chairmanship of Bipin Chandra Pal National Council of Education of Bengal was set up which planned to open National College and at rangpur Dinajpur and Dhaka Comilla district Jalpaiguri Nationalist Educational Institutes was started.
But in 1908 this movement like that of Shri Arvind, Lokmanya Tilak, Bipin Chandra Pal, and Lala Lajpat Rai were sent behind bars or asked to leave the country which gave birth to Nationalist movement and British government surprised their initiatives for promotion of Nationalist education and finally their efforts failed.
Educational movement by Dayanand Anglo Vedic Institute 1883
In 1883 in Lahore, a public meeting was convened which was attended by Lala Lajpat Rai, Mahatma Hansraj, Mahatma Munshi Ram, Lala Rela Ram and Pandit Guru Dutt and they started Dayanand Anglo Vedic college through which Sanskrit and Hindi education was promoted against the English system of education and it was also decided to start its branches across the country to help the people get rid of the ill effect of English system of education.
Experiment of Gurukul Kangri by Swami shraddhanand
In 1894 Mahatma Munshi Ram and his associates their ways with DAVU society and made Sanskrit , Vedic education , Vedic scriptures and tradition of Indian sages for another system of education and established Gurukul Kangri in 1902 and after this in 1909 in Multan, 1911 in Kurukshetra, in 1912 Gurukul Indraprastha, after which Bhatinda, Rohtak, Bhainswal, Saurashtra are certain places where Gurukuls were established with inspiration from Gurukul Kangri. In 1920 under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi non cooperation movement was launched and it was decided to Boycott government Educational Institutes and Nationalist schools were effective and in all the districts of Maharashtra National Educational Institutes were started and a National University came into existence in 1921 which is called Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth and in Bihar Bihar Vidyapeeth Kashi Vidyapeeth in Uttar Pradesh Gujarat Vidyapeeth in Gujarat was set up and about the shape of national educational system Mahatma Gandhi was of the view that weather India get freedom today or tomorrow but it cannot survive and sustain without National system of education.
Establishment of Banaras Hindu University in 1916
Eastern part of Uttar Pradesh mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya who was a great scholar of Sanskrit and proponent of Indian Culture Dharma and philosophy established a University with main purpose of ensuring all round prosperity and progress of the country and fulfill the country's political spiritual and materialistic needs of the country besides providing a nationalist leadership .
Establishment of Kashi Vidyapeeth in 1921
Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta and famous scholar Babu Bhagwan Das taking inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi Pandit Motilal Nehru Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad ad Seth jamnalal Bajaj with their corporation they set up Kashi Vidyapeeth which played a key role in our freedom movement duetowhich the British government banned it which was an example of the oppressive government character and it is unfortunate that due to the lack of governments Corporation it could not be expanded further and remained confined as a normal School while in 1952 to in Pondicherry experiment of Shri Maa took place based on the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo that through Shri Arvind International University the goal of all round education got fulfilled.
Mahatma Gandhi's educational experiment through basic education
Mahatma Gandhi was of the view that "Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye" and he had set up schools in Wardha, Paschim Champaran, Sabarmati Ashram, Delhi and he had done many experiments with regard to education and basic education or fundamental education was experimented by him. After Mahatma Gandhi his spiritual successor Acharya Vinoba Bhave carried these experiments fuether but this fundamental or basic experiment on education after independence was stopped and could not be allowed to progress further by those who acquired power and were great proponents of English educational system.
Results of the educational movement
Before and after independence our leaders who were supporter of peace but were Revolutionary at the same time had mainly stressed upon changing the destructive foreign system of education and wanted to make the country free from Lord Macaulay education system and a lot of efforts were made in this direction even then we have failed to revive the ancient glorious system of education which power great ancestors had developed but this educational and movement lost its momentum under the burden of governments grant expansion of work social economic and moral environment of today's India and all these movements at the level of Curriculum syllabus system of education teacher student relation educational environment dialogue between students and teachers behaviour character and conduct have now become a normal school or university.
A pledge for revolution in education by Patanjali through Bhartiya Shiksha Board
To fulfill the dreams of our Revolutionaries and Martyrs disciple of Maharshi Patanjali, Charak, Sushrut, Dhanvantari in the modern time Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj and Ayurved Guru Aacharya Balkrishna ji Maharaj have launched yoga Revolution , 2nd Ayurved and Swadeshi revolution, third corruption free Bharat Nirman and revolution in the governance have now decided to launch a revolution in the field of education in which Bhartiya Shiksha Board is playing a key role by imparting divine education to every child and giving him divine education so that he could emerge as a divine world citizen and his character could help India to become world Guru Once Again which is a pledge.
