With the making of allegations through electronic and print media, together, two or three doctors prepared a misleading research report of the harm from Giloy and published that research paper in a medical journal and planted its news, so that there would be confusion among people and people would think that if we will consume Ayurveda then We can have our liver, kidney failure. From the time of the arrival of the British, this propaganda has been going on against Ayurveda for 200 years.
On 2 July 2021, the 'Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hepatology' published a misleading research paper which showed this misleading study based on only 6 people and made a misleading attempt to prove that the consumption of Tinospora cordifolia i.e. Giloy causes liver damage. Basically crores of people have trust on Giloy and this conspiracy is spread to destroy this trust that people have on Giloy.
On the basis of this misleading research paper, English print and electronic media in Hindi of India started raising questions on Giloy. By the time Bomfenac was withdrawn from the market, this drug had been administered to more than 2.5 million people. The first case of bromfenac-associated liver failure was in a 36-year-old man who was treated for osteoarthritis with bromfenac (50 mg) for three months. This person was admitted to the local hospital for eight days due to jaundice and pain in the upper abdomen. Later it was transferred to the hospital of Vanderbilt University where he had to undergo a liver transplant due to liver failure.
