Patanjali's first step towards 'self-reliance' in edible oil sector

Patanjali has taken an unprecedented step towards making it self-reliant in the field of edible oil, under which Patanjali Foods Ltd. is located in the Niglok district East Siang of Pasighat region of Arunachal Pradesh in the far northeast he foundation stone for the palm oil versioning unit was laid.

Palm plantation plan in 1 lakh acres of land in Arunachal

Country's money stay in the country

This has been the campaign of Patanjali and Bharat Swabhiman that the money of the country should remain in the country and it should be useful for the people of the country. Earlier we were dependent, our country's money was going abroad which we were not able to stop. Because the oil which was needed for cooking was not available in our kitchen, in our country, so we had to send the country's money to those foreigners. Today the country has woken up with your cooperation.

India's concrete step for Self-reliance in edible oil

Now soon the day will come, when the country will be completely self-reliant. Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the biggest obstacle in the 'Self-reliant India' campaign is edible oil, from which money was going abroad. This campaign to stop him is our important effort. Now edible oil will be prepared in the country itself after processing it through palm plantation. The Bhoomi Pujan of the plant to be established for the same purpose took place on the land of Arunachal. Soon this plant is going to start in the country service. It was a historic moment in itself.
Here, no matter how many we are in numbers, now people all over the country are watching us live through multiple channels, looking up to you that there is a grand event going on. New revolution, agricultural revolution and oil revolution are about to come in the country through Patanjali Foods.

In this context, several times talks were held in Haridwar with Hon'ble Agriculture Minister Shri Tage Taki ji and work was outlined. The minister made necessary efforts, as a result of which this day came before us today. Thanks to Hon'ble Agriculture Minister, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Respected Pema Khandu ji and Honorable MP, who have contributed a lot in this entire work plan. Arunachal will be made country's first organic state

In the present context, Hon'ble Prime Minister, organic farming and there is a lot of emphasis on natural farming. This is bringing a new revolution in the whole country but a golden opportunity for Arunachal, because already 91% of agriculture in Arunachal is organic. Chemical so name - fodder is being used somewhere. By stopping this now, biocompost, bioculture and organic manure should be used in its place for the best organic farming. Patanjali does a great job of providing all these. Together with the Arunachal government, we can make the state completely organic state, organic state. Honorable Prime Minister talks about farming or jhum farming. In Arunachal, it is more correct to call agriculture as natural farming instead of organic farming because here agriculture is done from natural resources only. Animal dung manure is the major use in Arunachal. Sikkim has become the first organic state, but if the honorable MLA and the honorable minister take a pledge, then Arunachal can become a natural farming state or the first natural farming state of the country. We will do our best to make it the first natural farming state.
This dream is not only the question of Hon'ble Prime Minister, but also our future, because today diseases are flourishing due to more use of chemical fertilizers. There is no other way than this and by the grace of God, with the good efforts of all of you, Arunachal is such a state from which we can return to organic agriculture.
This will be the first palm plantation and palm cultivation and processing unit in the country and possibly the world which will be completely organic. Campaign for organic palm plantation will be started from here, under which palm plantation work will be done in about 1 lakh acres of land in 9 districts out of 25 districts of Arunachal. This will benefit more than half the population of Arunachal, they will get direct employment. Those who do cultivation will not only get employment, as well as those who are our workers of farmers here will also get employment. There are very few people in the country, who are currently working in agriculture. At present 36 thousand people are employed in the form.Those who are currently working as agricultural labor, they will get employment.

Patanjali's goal is philanthropy, not business

Patanjali is setting up a processing unit in this area of Pasighat. Earlier, Ruchi Soya had done plantation in some areas. Some other companies also did plantation out of which some companies ran away. But Ruchi Soya bought them from farmers due to lack of processing plant. Even if he had to put it in the pit later, he did not let the farmers be harmed. We never ran away, and now we have raised Patanjali Foods with the tenacity and effort of Pujya Swamiji. And where Baba's tenacity and effort has been applied, understand that God's grace has rained down. This is the first event that we are going to set up a factory. If anyone can do this work first in the world, then only Patanjali can do it. This work will happen very quickly, very well and will be good for the future of all of you. Acharya ji said that due to the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister and Ministry of Agriculture and visionary thinking of Honorable Agriculture Minister, Narendra Tomar ji, that subsidy is available for about 90% of the farmers.
By combining the different subsidies, you are not going to have any expenditure, 90% of the government is going to bear it. This is a big deal, that's why you add the whole team with you and not only that, we will also make this new model for intercropping.
Our goal is not business, other foreign companies consider it a market. Patanjali considers the country as a family.
