Haridwar, 09 May | Under the joint aegis of Patanjali Ayurved College and Hospital, Patanjali Research and Patanjali University, a one-day national workshop based on 'Garbha Sanskar' 'Santati Srijanam' was organized in the auditorium of Patanjali University. The workshop was inaugurated by the most revered Swami Ramdev Ji, Ayurveda was done by Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj. Special guest Dr. (Prof.) Kalpana Sharma was given the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' for her remarkable work in the field of Ayurveda.
At the beginning of the program, respected Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj said that the land of India is rich with glorious ideal mothers, among them Jijabai, Putlibai, Madalsa, Sita have been such mothers who shaped well-cultured children, today the land of India needs such children. . A mother creates well-cultured citizens through her tireless efforts even in adverse circumstances. In the program, revered Acharya Balkrishna ji while mentioning the glory of motherhood said that sixteen sanskars have been described in the Vedas and scriptures, out of which three sanskars are conception, punsavan and simantonnayan before birth, their combination is done by the parents of the future child. This is done in the spirit of protecting the womb. Only if a mother is healthy can she give birth to a healthy child. To protect her baby from malnutrition, it is necessary for the future mother to pay attention to balanced diet, yoga, meditation and contemplation. Dr. Vedapriya Arya, Head of Patanjali Herbal Research, reflected on the blockage of the normal reproductive cycle due to the increasing PCOD (Polycystic Ovary Disease) in women presented.
As the special speaker, Dr. (Prof.) Kalpana Sharma said that the main objective of Ayurveda is to maintain health, prevent and treat diseases. Ayurveda is that lifesaver which provides supernatural power to life from spiritual point of view. In the facts of male seed and female seed, it creates nature which leads to the creation of civilization. Ayurvedic theory explained based on immense possibilities with scientific approach. A comprehensive approach combining both ancient wisdom and modern science enhances the integrity of a healthy life.
Addressing the function, Vice Principal of Ayurvedic College, Girish KJ praised the efforts being made by various Ayurvedic colleges in this field. Various researchers presented their research papers at the national level. The program was conducted by Dr. Suman Singh and Dr. Gracy Sokia. Expressing his gratitude for the program, Dr. Anil Kumar, Principal, Ayurveda College, Haridwar said that such lectures provide a new vision to live life holistically. Scientists from Patanjali Research Institute were present on this occasion.
