Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj flagged off the bike rally organized under the Vibrant Village plan from Haridwar

  16 July, Haridwar : The bike rally organized under the Vibrant Village Scheme of Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) Uttarkashi was flagged off by Patanjali Yogpeeth General Secretary Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj from Ganga Swaroop Ashram on Sunday. Earlier, Acharya ji himself encouraged the mountaineering group by cycling. The bike rally will cover 11 districts of the state in which Haridwar is the 10th district. The purpose of this awareness rally is to stop migration from hilly remote rural areas in Uttarakhand and rehabilitate the vacant villages. On this occasion, Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj said that Patanjali Yogpeeth is committed to stop migration from remote villages of Uttarakhand. Today the benefits of Patanjali's services are being extended to the most remote hilly villages of Uttarakhand. Patanjali has taken steps to fulfill the basic needs like education, medicine and health of the hill citizens. the mountains in order to prevent migration, Patanjali has provided employment to the youth through small scale industries on the mountains itself.

Acharya ji said that we have presented better options for the farmers of the state due to which their income has increased. From time to time farmers are being given training in organic agriculture. According to the weather and land, they are being given information about the best agricultural products for pulses, oilseeds and according to the mountainous environment, whose benefits are being given to the farmers of the state. Due to this, there has also been a decrease in migration from the mountains. It is notable that this bike rally reached Ganga Swaroop Ashram on Saturday where Haridwar MP Shri Ramesh Paukhriyal 'Nishank' welcomed the mountaineering group.

On this occasion, Principal of Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi Col. Anshuman Bhadauria, Vice-Principal Major Deval Vajpayee and former Municipality President Satpal Brahmachari were present.
